Health care students and teachers from the Czech Republic learn about RSU RCMC experience in implementing the hybrid learning process (+photo)

As part of the Erasmus+ project, lecturers and students from the healthcare educational institution SZŠ a VOŠZ Mlada Boleslav (Czech Republic) visit the RSU Red Cross Medical College. During the two-week visit, the guests will have a busy schedule, visiting health care institutions in Latvia and participating in lectures at the College together with College students.

RSU Red Cross Medical College takes part in Erasmus+ anniversary festival

Erasmus+ gives a chance to students from all education levels to gain new knowledge and cross-cultural experience, studying or carrying out an internships in an overseas institution. Since 2009, 158 RSU RCMC students have used the opportunity offered by Erasmus+, and in turn RSU RCMC has hosted 78 students from abroad.

Discussion about Polytrauma patient treatment to strengthen international cooperation between Latvia and Israel (+video)

The beginning of September at RSU Red Cross Medical College (RSU RCMC) has seen another big event – an online discussion of polytrauma patient care between experts from Latvia and Israel. The event was delayed by two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but finally, thanks to dedication of both sides, representatives of RSU RCMC (Latvia) and Bar-Ilan University (Israel), as well as medical workers from Emergency Medicine services, surgeons and doctors came together to analyse and discuss the details of polytrauma patient care based on the experience from both countries.

Long-term partners from Calisia University in Poland came to visit RSU RCMC after the two long years of pandemic.

Dentistry project: videos available from the study trip to Estonia

At the end of May Red Cross Medical College of RSU started cooperation with adentistry center from Tallinn STOMATOLOOGIA+ in a VET project. ThisJune has seen the second trip of the RSURCMC dentist assistants and theirlecturer. For this project, Estonian colleagues have created a video summary about RSU RCMC guests experience in Tallinn dentistry center STOMATOLOOGIA+.
