From 6th to 31st January RSU RCMC hosted a Blended Intensive Program (BIP) "Empowering Healthcare Professionals to Lead In Emergency".
More than 30 participants from 7 countries (Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, France, Greece, Belgium, Poland) participated in the event.
The main topic of the program was the role of a healthcare professional in crisis situations. In the online part from between 6th and 24th January participants received an introduction to this topic, and from 27th to 31st January students participated in the intensive offline program at the College, during which they learned about communication in an international environment, psychological first aid, actions of healthcare professionals in crisis situations, as well as participated in simulations and visited the anatomy museum.
At the end of the event, the participants shared their impressions and insights, noting that the program helped them gain international experience, gave them the opportunity to attend quality workshops and practice new skills.
