From 10 to 14 July RCMC lecturers Māra Pakalnišķe and Līva Bodniece participated in a short-term joint staff training event at the Catholic University in Ružomberok (Ružomberok, Slovakia).

The training focused on seven key principles to be followed when implementing student-centered learning approach. The programme consisted of lectures and discussions that were particularly valuable because of the possibility to exchange experiences between participants and to learn from other European colleagues.

At the end of the training, each teacher presented a problem they encounter in their work, as well as a solution to the problem that training might have helped them to find. In addition, other colleagues had an opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas related to the problem presented.

The last day, 14 July, was a farewell dinner during which participants received certificates.
