Rapidly changing healthcare needs and technological development has led to an urgent demand for more effective communication between patients, relatives and healthcare practitioners. How to find a balance between improving digital skills but at the same time adapting to various communication needs when delivering medical information to patients or colleagues?
One of the dangers of lacking communication is visible in the information battle between expert opinions and influencers who deliver more accessible information. That can lead to poor decision making on health issues and losing trust in the healthcare system in general.
Red Cross Medical College of RSU invites international colleagues and students in healthcare to explore the challenges and opportunities of communication by participating in International Days’ events - lectures, workshops and discussions - and to strive for better solutions in medical education.
