Representatives of Střední průmyslová škola dopravní, a.s. from Slovakia visited College to gain experience.

The Slovakian school representatives are looking to implement in their educational institution EFQM quality model, so the goal of their visit was to hear about College’s experience implementing this model and learn from our example.

RSU Red Cross Medical College received the EFQM evaluation and EFQM Committed to Excellence 2 Star certificate in March 2021. The director of the College Inara Upmale and the visitors discussed the educational systems in Latvia and Slovakia, and then had a tour around College and its study labs. After that Deputy Director of Administrative and Development Issues Linda Venskus shared with colleagues from Slovakia our experience in implementing EFQM, focusing on the work, time and human resources that were necessary for this process. She also told in more detail about the experience, ideas and inspirations gained during International evaluators assessment process, and encouraged colleagues from Slovakia to continue working on their journey to develop their quality management system.
