In March and April 2022 RSU RCMC nurses participated in their first Blended Intensive Programme together with partners from Lithuania and Belgium.

Organized by Vilnius University of Applied Sciences, together with Haute Ecole Libre de Bruxelles - Ilya Prigogine and The Red Cross Medical College of Rīga Stradiņš University, the schools cooperated to study and discuss person-oriented care.

First the students participated in online lectures organised by ViKo and then headed to Vilnius to continue their group work. In Vilnius, supervised by College's Head of the Vocational Education Department Ilze Gaile and colleagues and lecturers from Vilnius and Belgium, the students attended lectures about person-oriented health care, participated in networking events and attended a health care institution. It was a week-long trip that concluded the virtual part of the project, where students were able to strengthen their knowledge about health care and exchange ideas and experiences with fellow students and colleagues from other institutions.
