Last week representatives of Děčín medical high school (Střední zdravotnická škola Dĕčín) from Czech Republic visited RSU Red Cross Medical College.

Representatives of the Czech educational institutions started their visit to the College with introductions and a meeting with the Director of the college Inara Upmale and the Deputy Director in academic and research work Sanita Litiņa. During the meeting, both schools discusses the topics of health care education in Latvia and the Czech Republic, about study trends in students and the quality assurance. Then the guests had a chance to view the RSU RCMC study laboratory and its equipment, as well as other study facilities. After that, the guests participated in job shadowing during some lectured in RSU RCMC. As part of the visit, the guests from the Czech Republic plan to learn more about the course of studies at RSU RCMC and compare the health care systems of Latvia and the Czech Republic.
