Last week the Red Cross Medical College of Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) concluded the Blended Intensive Program “Further Empowering the Role of Future Healthcare Professionals in Emergency Care”. Overall, during the program, the students learned about crisis communication, effective simulations, participated in mock conference, first-aid workshops, had their emergency medicine skills developed and tested, engaged in teamwork and critically analyzed crisis scenarios – all that while enjoying the wintery scenery of Riga, attending museums, cultural events and socializing with fellow healthcare students.
We thank every lecturer and every student who participated in this BIP and made our Blended Intensive Program possible. We hope it has been useful and hope to see you again in the next BIP!
