A delegation from Tartu Health University (Tartu Tervishoiu Kõrgkool) visited the College in the framework of Erasmus+ Staff mobility to discuss further cooperation opportunities in the field of emergency medicine education.
First the colleagues from Estonia met with College’s director and the academic staff to discuss the details of emergency medicine education in both schools and then the visitors got a tour around College’s teaching facilities.
During the visit representatives of both schools visited the Riga Eastern Clinical University Hospital Emergency Medicine and Patient Admission Clinic, where they met with the Head of the clinic and got introduced to the hospital facilities and the student internship process. Later colleagues from TTK and RSU RCMC visited the Emergency Medicine Service Brigade Support Centre "Krasts" to discuss and compare the work of EMS teams in both countries.
We are thankful to have received visitors from Tartu Tervishoiu Kõrgkool and are looking forward to fruitful future cooperation.
